 NZARH Diary – free to members
In December of each year members are sent a NZARH diary which includes important contact details a copy of the NZARH Code of Ethics as well as a pull out yearly planner.
 Certificate of Registration – free to members ($35 for each additional certificate)
Every member salon must hold a Certificate of Registration for a qualified stylist in their salon. This ensures there is a qualified hairdresser working full time in every member salon and meets our requirement for the ‘Guarantee of Professional Hair Care”.
 Window Sticker – free to members
Like the Certificate of Registration the window sticker is supplied to members upon payment of their membership fees. To be placed on your front window/door to show that you are a member and are committed to the providing the ‘Guarantee of Professional Hair Care’ to your clients.
 Competition Handbook – free to members
Sent to all members in April, this booklet includes the competition rules, contact information for NZARH, Regional Associations and HITO as well as all the Judges & Stewards around the country. Additional copies available for $10.00 each.
 Occupational Health & Safety Guide – updated copy now available!
The NZARH has reproduced this industry guide to help members offer their employees a healthy & safe working environment by:
· Helping you identify potential hazards
· Explaining your responsibilities as an employer
· Providing guidelines on safe work practices that will minimize the risk of harm.
Provided in a ring binder meaning it is easily updated.

This guide has been developed to assist employers in the areas of Management and Human Resources (Staff) and includes templates from writing a business plan for your salon to what questions to ask when interviewing for new staff members. Keep up to date with what’s happening in your industry by reading our quarterly Headlines magazine. Sent to all members at the beginning of March, June, September and December, we have some regular articles from our Legal Advisor, Insurance Advisor, Financial Advisor as well as fashion forecasts for each season, information on Kiwisaver and competition winners to name but a few.
